United Parcel Service employed a mobile recruiting strategy similar to the Obama campaign’s to acquire the thousands of people it needed for the holiday season. It also used a wide range of “traditional” methods, including print and direct mail, to reinforce its recruitment message and link it to its mobile strategy.
